The East Side Union High School District’ Special Education (SPED) department serves a large student population with Individualized Education Programs (IEP). The department is required to provide detailed quarterly and annual reporting for each IEP. Previously, inefficient data collection via Google Forms and email led to fragmented data and missed deadlines. To address this, we created the Cinco6 app, which consolidates student progress data into a single platform, streamlining reporting for teachers and case managers.
The Cinco6 app improved data collection and reporting efficiency, ensuring consistency, reducing administrative burdens, and helping meet regulatory deadlines. This project highlighted the importance of user-centric design and advanced technology in enhancing productivity and compliance.
